Turlee Station Stay

Traveling from Mildura

Travel 20kms of bitumen followed by 55kms of dirt, North East on the Arumpo Road.  Turn right at the Marma Box Creek Road (formerly Hatfield Road) and travel a further 19kms to Turlee Station Stay. Trip time is approx 1 hour.

Traveling from Balranald

Travel 53kms of bitumen North West of Balranald until you reach a turn off on your left for Mungo National Park.  Turn left here and travel 60km of dirt road until you reach Turlee Station Stay.

Traveling from Pooncarie

Head south on the Wentworth-Pooncarie road until you reach a turn off on your left hand side for Mungo National Park. Turn left here, Top Hut road, and travel until the road ends at a t-intersection. Turn right towards Mungo National Park and continue on this road, passing the national park entry, approximately 38km until you reach another t-intersection. Turn left here and travel 2km until you reach Turlee Station on your left hand side.

Bookings are essential for all landings due to stock grazing in paddock. Pilots must phone on the day of landing to ensure airstrip access and staff availability for transport to accommodation facilities. A small fee is applicable for transfers from the airstrip back to the accommodation and is obtainable upon request. The airstrip is located 4km from the main homestead and accommodation facilities and is free of all power lines and trees.

Airstrip is 40 feet wide x 1 Km long. Graded dirt. No lights. Helicopter landing zone suitable.
